The Approval of a project construction in Cyprus begins with the plans being prepared by an architect and the civil engineer calculates the amount of steel and reinforced concrete needed for the skeleton and also the exact specifications such as the diameter of the steel and the locations of concrete pillars within the building.
Once these stages are complete the plans are submitted to the planning department for approval and to
be sent to the district authority to get the final permission which is in effect for 3 years.
In usual terms the plans take about 6 months to be prepared and about 6 months up to 1 year to be approved. |
