Choletria

Tradition says that the village of Choletria dates back about 500 years. The area of "Agia Eirene" (St. Irene) was said to have been the original village, which is situated very close to today's village. Here you will find ruins of a small church, the remains of old houses and an old olive-press.

The landscape of Choletria changes with every season, but is beautiful all year round. During spring the village is covered with flowers and in winter you can look up to the snow capped mountains of Troodos.

Only 1 km away west of the village is the unexpected location of an Ostrich farm!
