Polis & Latchi

To give it its full title ‘Polis Chrysochous’ is only 45 minutes’ north of Paphos and five minutes from the quaint and pretty fishing port of Latchi. Polis Chrysochous means ‘Golden Town’ and this is certainly self explanatory when you see the long sandy blue flag beach here. Polis is the least developed beach resort in the Paphos area and boasts rugged mountains, lush greenery and crystal clear water.

For anyone interested in the history of the area, visit the museum of Marion-Arsinoe with items from the Neolithic, Chalcolithic and Medieval periods. Near the central square you will see the Church of Agios Andronikos and close by the traditional 18th century Agia Kyriaki Church.
