Once the contract has been signed, the buyer is responsible for the payment of Stamp Duty at the rate of CY£1.50 per thousand up to the value of CY£100,000, and CY£2.00 per thousand thereafter. This should be paid within 30 days of signing the contract to avoid facing extra charges.
