An effective Land Registry System operates in Cyprus, where all 'immovable property' (including both land and property) is registered.

All 'immovable property' has a registration certificate, commonly known as the 'title deed' - this contains information regarding the property and the owners, e.g.: owner's name, location of property, size of property and also the Land Offices reference.

'Immovable property' also has a site plan showing the location of the property on the development.
